Cappers

The CT90CA is a semi automatic capper in which an operator manually places caps onto containers that are then automatically indexed into a capping station and torqued to spec as per the setting on an adjustable clutch built into the torquing head of the cap tightener. The CT90CA can be customized with a wide variety of options including custom tooling for use with different container styles, guarding, star-wheel indexing systems, and more.

Multi-Head retorquers made by SPM operate on the same principle as the more basic CT90CA in which caps are first placed onto containers by an operator before being torqued to spec by pneumatic torquing heads. Multi-Spindle systems add an additional degree of speed to the process by increasing the number of caps torqued per index cycle.

The CT90 is a bench top manually operated pneumatic cap tightener. It features a fibre clutch for accurate cap torquing and can be configured with various safety features such as hands-free container holding to suit our customer's needs.

The Speedway TA90 Airtite is a pneumatically operated hand-held cap

tightener capable of tightening container caps in diameters from

15 to 100 mm. Available with a floor stand, bench stand or by

itself for attachment to an existing support. It is efficient, simple to

operate and trouble free.
